Water

Water embodies the depths of the unconscious, sexual energies and untold emotions. Just like the flow of life, the flow of Water allows the release of the inessential. In Water lives the image of constant flux and adaptability. It awakens our senses in the subtlest ways through its lucent surface, unique density, mesmeric sound and temperamental motion.

Then, when brought into the house, Water becomes its life-blood. Its power is generous yet hard to govern: at times indomitable, now and again comforting, it holds a dual nature. As the earliest mirror to exist, Water is significant as the element that first gave us the chance to look at our own reflection and contemplate the nature of being, allowing us to explore the inner reality of the self.
